Happy New Year 2013

To all a very happy and healthy new year

I would like to thank all of our readers of the Cold Case Squad Blog a happy new year. We hope that it brings everyone joy and happiness. We would also like to extend our sincere condolences to the victims and their families of Sandy Hook. You will forever be in our prayers.

2012 was a breakout year for the Cold Case Squad Blog. In June, we thanked our readers for six consecutive months of 1,000 hits and then our hits jumped to over 4,000 a month overnight. We celebrated our 2 Year Blogiversary in October.

At the beginning of 2012 the blog was being read in 66 countries and by the end of the year that number reached to over 120 countries  We attributed this success to our readers who asked for certain topics and cases to be covered. This Blog was designed for you, so please keep on writing in with your requests and ideas.

The plan for the Cold Case Squad Blog in 2013:
  • Hopefully, help solve a cold case
  • Post biweekly - Mondays and Fridays
  • Increase the number of training videos & subscribers on our YouTube Channel
  • Increase the number of Likes on Facebook to spread the word about cold cases
  • Have more guest contributors
In case you missed them or are new to the blog, here is a sampling of the most popular articles of 2012:

Edmond Locard: Forensic Rock Star #1
Dr. Sir Alec Jefferies: Forensic Rock Star #2
Help Solve a Cold Case
The Murder of Innocence
Crime Rates Down, but so are Crime Clearance Rates

We also added Tabs to the top of our page, including the Family Guide and the Law Enforcement Page (LE Page). Here you will find information that may help in your quest towards the truth.

Thanks for your readership and your support. We hope to highlight enough cases that someone comes forward and helps solves a cold case and brings justice to the victim and peace to their loved ones.

If you have any ideas you can always leave them as comments or send them via E-mail.

Happy New Year,

-Joe
