2011: A Year in Review on the Cold Case Squad Blog

I would like to wish everyone a healthy and Happy New Year!

The Cold Case Squad has grown tremendously in its first full year in existence. Readership is climbing steadily and the Blog is now being read in over 66 different countries. I sincerely thank all of my old and new readers: without you, it is just another empty site on the web.

The Cold Case Squad Blog also branched out and had many expert authors post articles this year with great success. The combination of expert opinion and insight coupled with timeliness may prove to be the key to solving a case in 2012. The goal of the Cold Case Squad has always been to bring closure to family members and we may do so with your continued support and participation.

There were many posts this past year, but here is a quick rundown of the 5 Most Popular in 2011:

1.  Holly Bobo: A Case for Statement Analysis

2.  Crime Scene Contamination and the Amanda Knox Case

3.  Cold Case: Bullets in the Field

4.  The Art of Lying

5.  Why the Long Island Serial Killer Holds Us Hostage

Plans for 2012:

  • We would like to see more expert opinion, insight and comments left on blog posts.
  • Receive more articles on cold cases, investigation techniques and forensics
  • Partner with more cold case related blogs
  • We would like to see more "Likes" on the Cold Case Face Book page in order to spread the word. Someone out there knows something!
