$10,000 Crime Stoppers Reward Offered in Solving 9 year old's Murder

The Crime Stoppers Unit in Columbus Ohio is offering a $10,000 $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the outstanding perpetrator(s) responsible for the shooting murder of 9 year old, Kiyanshea Stewart-Mielke at 1121 Hallidon Avenue.

The police responded to the residence earlier on the evening of June 15, 2003 and made a few arrests after an argument took place between party goers. Later on the same night, someone drove by and sprayed the house with bullets, killing Kiyanshea. In what looks like a cowardly act of revenge, has cost this innocent child her life.

ARREST MADE: Jermaine Riley has been charged with the murder in this case, however, there are still outstanding accomplices in this case. Riley is currently serving 70 years in prison on unrelated matters.

NEW REWARD: Even though an arrest has been made and technically the case is closed, detectives are still searching for the additional accomplices that were involved in this murder. Crime Stoppers of Columbus Ohio is offering $5,000 for information that leads to the additional arrests or indictments of those involved.

The case is currently being investigated by Det. Dana Farbacher of the Unsolved Case Review Team and anyone with information about the case should call 614-949-7179.
